Corner Cafe |

The original Corner Cafe is an icon in the Kansas City landscape, known for great home style cooking and award winning breakfasts. This is the third location for the popular restaurant. The architecture draws from rural vernacular farmsteads and features the same red clapboard siding that is a trademark of the original. Scheduled to open in November of 2008, this new 'Corner' will soon become another Kansas City area landmark.

Klover Architects is responsible for delivering freestanding, in-line, and food-court locations for the Rosemead, California based gourmet Chinese restaurant group. Our services include site investigation, permitting, and complete documentation. We have assisted in renovating existing freestanding structures and converting in-line locations into the unique architecture that helps define Panda Express.
The White Chocolate Grill |

Narrative:
The White Chocolate Grill's exterior is a blend of materials, colors, and landscaping indigenous to Arizona. The contemporary prairie style is highlighted by a curved metal roof over the dining area. The plan is organized along a datum provided by the signature white masonry wall. Interior spaces contrast the masonry with rich wood and leather seating. Diffused light filters through the ceiling, featuring open beams and wooden slats.
